Angelina Jolie has revealed that she doesn’t like displaying her emotional side to other people - or even getting hugged.

She told Vogue recently: “I’m not a hugger. People make fun of me. It’s something that I have a hard time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging, crying . . . all that stuff makes me very uncomfortable.”

“It’s not going to accomplish anything to cry.”

But she does make an exception for her three children, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh: “Oh, I love hugging my kids. It’s a different thing because you feel such a genuine grab from them.”
