• Despite being considered past his soccer career peak, David Beckham has reportedly insured himself for £100million. According to the Sun, the policy, which has been spread across several different companies, will cover the Real Madrid star for injury on or off the field, disfigurement or serious illness. David earns around £4million a year with Real Madrid but is thought to make at least the same again through sponsorship and advertising deals.
  • Russell Brand has revealed the reason he doesn’t often smile in photos - he hates his crooked teeth. He admitted recently: “I wasn’t in a position to get braces when I was young. It was all too hectic.” He added that he now wears a gum shield when he’s not working to correct the wonkiness.
  • Anna Nicole Smith has flown back to the USA for the first time in over six months to appear at a court mediation regarding her claim to late husband Howard Marshall’s future. Anna Nicole has been fighting with Howard’s son E Pierce Marshall over the money since Howard’s death in 1995. Pierce himself died in June this year. There has been no word over whether Anna Nicole would respond to Larry Birkhead’s paternity claims while she is in California.
