Heather Mills goes to police over “non-specific threat”
Heather Mills has gone to the police about an unspecific threat made against her.
Sources close to Heather have revealed the threat was received last week and has seemingly been made in revenge of the abuse claims she has made against estranged husband Paul McCartney.
A Sussex police spokeperson confirmed: “On Thursday, 14 December, information was received from police in the Merseyside area which indicated a non-specific threat towards Heather Mills-McCartney. Police can confirm she was spoken to by officers and was fully informed of the information, including details of the names of individuals involved.”
“Police are satisfied there is no imminent risk to her. Local officers have been briefed regarding the circumstances and provision has been made for an immediate police response should this be necessary.”
Heather has been issued with a panic alarm by the police force but her spokesperson said over the weekend that it has not done much to alleviate her fear: “She is frightened, but she’s more worried about Bea than anything else. She has been told who these characters are and the worrying thing is that they have a violent past.
“The problem is she can’t really do anything to protect herself apart from keep a watchful eye.”
Heather has previously claimed to have received a number of death threats with regards to her forthcoming court battle with Paul over custody of their daughter, Beatrice.
