Lindsay Lohan has told friends she has a new found respect for pole dancers after learning to dance for her new film I Know Who Killed Me.

Lindsay plays a topless dancer in the movie and has been practising on the pole in advance of filming her dance scenes.

According to the New York Post, she sent friends an email complaining about the bruising she’s suffered: “So … 3 hours of pole dancing and bruised. everywhere … I mean we’re talkin’ like, UPPER AND INNER THIGH ACTION-bruised … like a walking black-and-blue mark.”

“I mean really though, really, I didn’t know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body. Strippers dude, I tell you, I really respect the c***s now. . . I’m not gonna lie to ya.”

Her spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnik confirmed that she’s been rehearsing with pole-dancing-as-aerobics instructor Sheila Kelly: “[Lindsay’s] character is a stripper, and she now realizes that the job isn’t easy. We should give these women credit.”
