You would have thought Aaron Carter might have learnt something from his week long engagement to Kari Ann Peniche earlier this year about seeing how things go in a new relationship before shouting from the rooftops about it - but no.

The pop-turned-reality-tv star celebrated his 19th birthday over the weekend and told People magazine that he’s already in love with his new girlfriend of a week, Kaci Brown.

He told the magazine: “Now I’m in a great relationship. I’ve only known her for, like, seven days, but I have a connection with her that’s like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. It’s really amazing.”

“Love shouldn’t be about jealousy or anything like that. It should be about commitment and being able to trust that person. If you can’t have that from the start, there’s a problem. When it comes to relationships, I think I’m pretty experienced - you’d be surprised.”

Kaci is equally enamoured with Aaron and has already introduced him to her parents: “It was so funny - Aaron told them not to worry. He’s just one of the sweetest most genuine people I’ve ever met. He’s so talented, it’s inspiring.”
