Lost’s Evangeline Lilly’s home burns down

Lost star Evangeline Lilly’s home in Hawaii was burned down to the ground yesterday morning.

Neighbours report that the fire started around 6.30am and quickly spread. Honolulu Fire Captain Kenison Tejada has confirmed that the fire department was alerted to the fire at 6.43am local time and the fire crew worked for 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.

He explained: “When we arrived the house was fully engulfed in flames. It was a complete loss. Just the roof was still standing.”

Evangeline shares the rented house near the Lost set with two female crewmembers but all of the housemates were already at work at the time of blaze so no one was hurt in the fire.

Evangeline’s spokesperson told People magazine: “Yes, it is unfortunately true that her home in Hawaii burned down this morning. Thankfully, Evangeline is safe as she was on set already when it occurred.”
