Kanye WestKanye West is reportedly furious that Sugababe Amelle Berrabah had the gall to turn him down for a date three times - and had his assistant call to tell her so.

Amelle has been with boyfriend Freddie Fuller for three years but she caught Kanye’s attention at the Brit Awards and NME Awards earlier this year. Kanye joked about her being his prize when the Sugababes as a band presented him his award for being the NME’s Best Solo Artist.

Amelle told the Mirror: “I spoke to him after [the ceremony] and he said I was beautiful. I’m flattered but there’s no way I’d do anything. I love Freddie.”

The two bumped into each other again at the MTV Europe Awards last month. Amelle revealed recently: “He had two other women hanging off each arm but he didn’t care and told me he wanted me to go his hotel room later.”

“I was polite but said it wasn’t going to happen. But he’s not used to that and clearly thought I was joking. When I didn’t show up he must have just flipped.”

“I had forgotten all about it, but when I was at home the other night I got the call [from Kanye’s assistant].”

“She said she was calling on behalf of Kanye who was furious because I had offended him by not dating him. I told her that Kanye knew I had a boyfriend, but she wasn’t having any of it.”

“She said he was not used to being treated like that, and I should be more considerate next time I see him.”

“People think just because you’re in a band you should date another singer or a footballer, but I’m not interested. I’m really happy with Freddie.”

“Just because Kanye clicks his fingers I’m not gonna come running.”
