Penélope Cruz has revealed she finds the rumours that she is dating Salma Hayek amusing and has helped keep them going.

The two first met when Penélope moved to the US in 1999 and despite Penélope’s high-profile relationships with Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey, the rumours of her being more than friends with Salma have persisted - not helped by Penélope’s antics.

She revealed recently that while the two were holding a press conference to promote their film Bandidas earlier this year, she pinched Salma’s bum to spark up the proceedings: “I grabbed Salma’s ass just to keep things moving, because everyone was a little slow. And, of course, the energy changed when I did that.”

Penélope has also previously said that her best ever on-screen kiss was with Charlize Theron in Head in the Clouds despite having shared the screen with both famous exes and Johnny Depp.
