• Keira Knightley used reportedly her celebrity clout to hold a private party after a London club closed for the night. According to the People newspaper, Keira was at Paper with a group of friends but they couldn’t get on the packed dancefloor during the evening. A source told the newspaper that Keira persuaded the staff and DJ to stay open later just for them: “She and eight friends had the floor to themselves.”
  • Take That’s Mark Owen has revealed he’s reliving his youth since Take That successfully reformed again this year. Mark was 18 when he first joined the band and just 24 when they split after six years of chart success. The band got back together earlier this year for a reunion tour - and have gone on to record a new No1 album together. He said recently: “What I really want for Christmas is a bike. I am re-living my teenage years.”
  • James Brown has died after being admitted to hospital with pneumonia yesterday. James was admitted to the Emory Crawford Long Hospital, in Atlanta, Georgia, and died during the night. His long time friend Charles Bobbit was at his side. The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed. James, known as the “Godfather of Soul”, was 73.
