Chad Lowe’s father has revealed he was stunned to hear Hilary Swank say that she would like to have children because it’s a complete U-turn from her past opinion.

Charles Lowe, father of Chad and his older brother Rob Lowe, told the National Enquirer: “All I can say is wow! I’m a little shocked. She didn’t want kids when she was married to Chad - he did!”

“[Chad] was anxious to have children. He’d have loved to have had a baby with her.”

“It was my understanding that she was more focused on her career.”

Chad and Hilary separated earlier this year after thirteen years together.
