Jessica Simpson scales down Christmas holiday due to depression

Jessica Simpson and little sister Ashlee Simpson have reportedly abandoned their plans for a sunny Christmas in Hawaii in favour of a break in Colorado instead.

According to In Touch Weekly, the two changed their plans to have a more private celebration because Jessica is feeling down at the moment.

An inside source told the magazine that Ashlee flew down to Louisiana recently to see Jessica on the set on her new film Blonde Ambition because Jessica’s unhappy: “she didn’t leave her trailer for two days.”

Jessica is reportedly still unhappy about the Kennedy Honors ‘9 to 5′ flub but according to a report in More magazine, she’s been depressed since her divorce from Nick Lachey was finalised earlier this year.

A source told the magazine she suffered from panic attacks and agroraphobia: “[Jessica] started staying home more and more. Her problems developed for a while and got worse after her divorce from Nick.”

“She barely left the house unless she was working. It got so bad she suffered panic attacks. It felt as if the world was closing in on her. Her blood pressure rose, she got dizzy and she actually felt as if she was suffocating.”

First Ashlee then Jessica. They got a dose of reality. They are not talented, they can’t sing. They are products of music producers, choreographers(bad ones), voice trainers(inept ones). High tech electronics in the recording studios mask their bad singing to sell more CD’s and DVD’s. Recorded music and lip synching mask their bad singing in concerts. When it comes to actual singing without technical wizardry, both proved they can’t sing. The truth is finally out.

Are Jessica’s promoters that stupid that we are to believe she has panic attacks and agoraphobia after the extensive exposure to the public, “performing” in concerts, movies? Give me a break!

I miss the old days when talented musicians dominated the music scene. These days it’s the talentless Simpsons, the Britney Spear’s who make tabloid headlines that get most attention, sell more music.
