Angelina Jolie was pleased to find out she was in the running for the role of Ava Lord in the forthcoming Sin City 2 movie earlier this year because it was such a contrast to her real life at the time.

She revealed recently: “It was a funny thing, because the idea came to me when I was pregnant.”

“I’d been depressed and quiet, and I was feeling very maternal and pregnant, and there was a character in the Sin City comic who is this sexy, violent lass.”

“I suddenly thought, ‘Maybe after I’m pregnant, that’ll be nice to do.’”

“But it didn’t come at that time, but we are still talking about it.”
