Sylvester Stallone: I’d love my daughters to box

Sylvester Stallone has revealed he would love his daughters to follow in his Rocky footsteps and learn how to box so that he won’t worry about them so much when they start dating.

Sylvester has three daughters with wife, former model Jennifer Flavin: five year old Scarlett, eight year old Sistine and ten year old Sophia.

He said recently: “I wish my daughters would box. I’m so worried about the guys coming up to them that I would love them to be able to smack a man right off a bar stool.”

“I would feel very confident in them going out at night if they could take all the guys in the neighbourhood.”

He also added he finds raising girls to be a strange experience: “Girls are a lot of work. Boys, you just put a T-shirt on them and throw them out in a hail storm and say, ‘It’s OK, it’s good for you. Go chew on that tree. Fight that coyote.”

“With the girls it’s like, ‘Am I gaining weight?’ I’m like - you’re five years old!’ It’s crazy!”
