• Lily Allen doesn’t seem to have much sympathy for Lindsay Lohan’s weekend of partying-related troubles. Writing on her blog, Lily wrote yesterday: “We went to this club called Les Deux [last week] and that was really fun until Lindsay Lohan arrived and had us thrown off our table… Lindsay, our thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time in your life (she got arrested this weekend). In the words of Timbaland and Timberlake, ‘What goes around’…”
• The Gossip’s Beth Ditto has said she’d like to record a duet with Kate Moss after the pair spent an evening singing together at a party in Los Angeles. Beth’s quoted in the Mirror as saying: “We sang a lot that night - I’d consider doing a duet with her if the song was right.” But Beth’s not interested in including Kate’s fiance Pete Doherty in the project as she added: “I’m really scared of her boyfriend.”

The organisers of next weekend’s MTV Movie Awards have reportedly been making plans to keep Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel from bumping into each other at the event.

Cameron and Jessica are said to have fallen out at a Golden Globes aftershow party when Cameron spotted Jessica flirting with Justin Timberlake just days after news broke that Cameron and Justin has split up. Justin and Jessica are now thought to be dating and while Cameron and Justin insist they’re still friends, the MTV organisers aren’t taking any chances.

An inside source told the New York Post: “Everyone is determined to keep Cam and Jess far apart.”

“It’s becoming a big deal because the girls both want very separate arrival times. Nobody knows who Cameron is going to bring, if anyone. But if Jessica walks with Justin, Cameron will want to bring a date. If Jessica goes alone, Cam will probably walk alone. It’s a mess.”

The biggest stars at an event are usually the last to take to the red carpet and even though Cameron is currently the bigger star between the two women, Justin and Jessica would be seen as more important overall: “Cam is used to being more high-profile than Jessica. But now that Jessica’s dating Justin, she has more leverage. Cameron’s looking a little unstable lately.”

Both Cameron and Jessica are presenting awards at the ceremony and Cameron has been nominated - in the Best Kiss category for The Holiday - too. The source added: “Jessica is definitely not presenting that one.”

The ceremony will take place in Universal City, California on Sunday.

• Without a doubt the biggest photo story of the day is the shots of Lindsay Lohan slumped in a car after a night of heavy drinking. Lindsay’s usually so pretty but these photos … not so much.
• The other celebrity partying casualty of the weekend Mischa Barton was snapped stocking up with supplies with the worryingly-thin-again Nicole Richie before the Sunday night Memorial Day party that ended with Mischa in hospital.
• Looking way healthier, Jennifer Aniston spent the holiday with friend Courteney Cox-Arquette at Courteney’s Malibu beach house. The pair were spotted taking a stroll along the beach with Courteney’s husband David Arquette and their daughter Coco.
• Jennifer and Courteney’s friend Sheryl Crow was missing from the gathering but she was in Malibu for the weekend too - she was snapped taking a mid-shopping break to feed new son Wyatt.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly planning to check into rehab this afternoon after a wild weekend of partying, which included a car crash, an arrest and a drunken public collapse.

After her car crash and arrest in the early hours of Saturday morning, Lindsay had been partying at Teddy’s on Sunday night before leaving around 4.30am on Monday morning. Lindsay’s friend and designated driver Samantha Ronson drove the pair to a nearby petrol station where Lindsay was snapped falling to her knees and then being helped back into the car - where she instantly passed out.

An onlooker told the Mirror: “Lindsay looked exhausted. She’d been out all night and was all over the place. Her arrest clearly hasn’t put her off partying.”

A source close to Lindsay told In Touch magazine that this weekend’s antics have shown Lindsay that she needs to head back to rehab - just three months after completing her last stay: “She finally realizes it’s the right thing to do. She is going willingly.”

“It’s a tough time for her right now. Everyone is hoping that this is a learning lesson to all.”

The source added that rather than returning to Wonderlands - where she spent a month at the start of the year, Lindsay will check into Britney Spears‘ former clinic, the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Lindsay’s lawyer Blair Berk drove her to Promises yesterday and Lindsay has checked into residential, “serious medical treatment program” for at least 30 days.

• Director Tim Burton is reportedly considering making a film about Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese’s relationship and failed marriage. The Corpse Bride maker is said to be in talks with Marilyn about the project and said recently: “I’m fascinated by Dita and Marilyn. They’re like a living Brothers Grimm fairytale.” The couple began dating in 2001 and separated at the end of 2006 after a year’s marriage.
• Kevin Costner has revealed Madonna apologised to him a few years ago for mocking him in 1991’s Truth or Dare. In the behind the scenes documentary, Madonna mimicked vomiting when Kevin visited her backstage after a gig and called the show “neat”. Kevin said recently: “About three or four years ago, I took my daughters to see her. About the third song in, the lights were down and she said, ‘I want to apologise to Kevin Costner’. Ninety eight per cent of that audience didn’t know what that was about. But I respected it.”

Amy Winehouse has said while she has no regrets about her quickie, guest-free wedding to Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami, she’s really looking forward to her second big day later in the year.

She said this week: “I’m so glad I got married to Blake, we’ve been in love for such a long time but we didn’t realise it until lately.”

“People have been talking about me having a Jewish wedding, but I’m not interested in that, that’s bulls***. We are just going to have a nice family party to celebrate in December.”

“I’m from north London, and so are my family, so that’s where we are going to celebrate it.”

“I’m so excited I’m going to get a nice new dress and a bunch of bridesmaids together to make sure that I make it up to my mum.”

“[But] all I care about is my family and Blake’s family being there together on the same day - that is the only thing that will make me happy.”

She added that she’s not even interested in the excuse to have a blow-out drunken party: “I don’t want any booze there because I know how I feel about him and that’s what counts.”
