Nicole Richie has revealed she hates it when people call her a role model or the “face” of eating disorders.

She told Nylon magazine recently: “It’s really sad how obsessed America is with weight. It’s sick. I’ve never gone a day without putting food in my mouth. I’ve never sewn my mouth shut. I’ve never gone on a liquid diet. So I want to know why I’m the face for a problem.”

“[But] I don’t walk around pretending that I’m perfect, so I don’t think anyone should hold me to that.”

“The dangerous thing is that there are 16, 17, 18-year-olds that people consider to be role models. I’m so happy I wasn’t famous back then. You’d think I was the f****** devil.”

• Janet Jackson and fiance Jermaine Dupri are planning to start a family together as soon as Janet completes work on her next album. Janet is currently recording tracks for her 10th studio album in Miami and Jermaine told OK magazine recently: “[We’ll have kids] as soon as she finishes her new album. She started in June and she’s working on it right now. Once the album and tours are done and all that’s settled down, it’ll happen somewhere around then.”
• Lily Allen has revealed she’s been having a number of sexy dreams of late - featuring her with other women. She said recently: “I have been having a lot of lesbian dreams lately. I think I might be gay! Don’t tell my boyfriend. I have guy dreams and girl dreams, but the girl dreams are much dirtier.”

Matt Damon has said he’s glad he doesn’t get the same amount of paparazzi attention as his Ocean’s 13 co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

While Matt’s current family holiday in Hawaii (with friends Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner) is being covered on a daily basis, it’s nothing like the scrutiny that Brad Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie are subjected to wherever they go.

Matt told Empire magazine recently: “I honestly don’t know how Brad does it. He can’t walk down the street anywhere, literally anywhere.”

“They’re in Prague right now because Angelina’s working, and he can’t walk down the street.”

“I went to Prague and I didn’t sign an autograph for six months - and it was great! The fame side is not interesting to me at all.”

Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have sparked rumours that they’ve got back together after being spotted at the Ritz Hotel in Paris together.

The couple secretly, then not so secretly, dated for several years before splitting in February but now a source close to the couple has claimed they’ve got back together, and Hugh has even proposed to the British socialite.

The source reports: “The time they spent apart made Hugh realise just what he was missing without Jemima.”

“It was a bit of a shock to him because he’s always liked to think he’s a bit of a playboy and bachelor boy at heart. Everyone’s really pleased because they make a great couple.”

Nicole Kidman has said that despite turning 40 last week, she still feels like she did as a teenager.

She told Closer magazine recently: “I’ve always had this long, lean body type and I haven’t changed since I was 15.”

“I have a boy’s body. I would love to have boobs and a butt like Jennifer Lopez, but I’m not having surgery, so there it is.”

She added that she swims and practises yoga to stay in shape but she’s not the type to have a strict no-fun diet: “I can’t have a piece of cake every single night - but I can have a piece of cake three or four nights a week.”

• Jamelia has said she isn’t too bothered about being dumped by her record label Parlophone earlier this year because she and the company had different priorities. She’s quoted in the Mirror as saying this week: “I have two children, I’m not going out to work every day leaving them at home and being unhappy with it. I’d rather go with a label that isn’t willing to make me do that and I have been approached by many of them already.”
• Gary Oldman has revealed he hates the whole fame aspect of being an actor. He told the Daily Telegraph recently: “I don’t have a publicist. Never had one. I don’t go to premieres. I don’t go to parties. I don’t covet the Oscar. I don’t want any of that. I don’t go out. I just have dinner at home every night with my kids. Being famous, that’s a whole other career. And I haven’t got any energy for it.”
