Britney Spears is reportedly so desperate to keep custody of her sons Sean and Jayden that, according to the News of the World, she is considering fleeing to Cuba - or even getting back together with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Britney and Kevin’s divorce was finalised at the end of July, with an initial 50-50 custody arrangement - but almost straight away, Kevin began a challenge to increase his time with the boys, resulting in a 70/30 split. Kevin’s ongoing legal case is centred around claims that Britney is an unfit mother, resulting in a judge ordering both of them into parenting classes and to undergo twice-weekly drug and alcohol tests.

Now a source has told the British Sunday newspaper that Britney started considering reconciling with her husband of two years after seeing him linked to a former Playboy model, Nicole Narain: “Britney’s bouncing off the walls with rage and has been calling Kevin day and night to check he’s not with Nicole.”

“She’s desperately jealous and wants to keep Kevin’s attention on her. She wants him back.”

“She thinks by getting Kevin back he’ll drop the custody battle - but that’s not going to happen.”

The source added that Britney is considering every option to avoid losing her sons - including fleeing to the Caribbean island: “She’s terrified of losing her sons. There are no extradition laws in Cuba, so she thinks it’s her only hope.”

• Pamela Anderson has reportedly married boyfriend Rick Salomon after just a few weeks of dating. Pamela revealed she had a new man and was “engaged” to him earlier in the month but then quickly added: “I’m not really engaged. I don’t know what I am. We may never get that far.” But, according to paparazzi agency X17, the pair married in a civil ceremony in Las Vegas yesterday. Pamela has previously been married to Tommy Lee & Kid Rock while Rick was married to Shannon Doherty for a short time before starring in the Paris Hilton sex tape, One Night in Paris.
• And speaking of weddings, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are reportedly set to get married in a fortnight’s time, even though the Good Charlotte frontman claimed recently that they won’t marry until after their baby is born at the end of the year. A source told TMZ that the nuptials have been arranged by a wedding planner from the Wedding Fairy company and the couple will marry on 13th October in a small ceremony in Laguna, California. They began dating late last year.

David Beckham reportedly blames himself for his dad Ted’s heart attack this week.

David returned London from Los Angeles on Wednesday night after Ted was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery.

A source told the News of the World that when he finally reached Ted’s hospital bedside on Thursday, he was consumed with regret: “David feels he is somehow to blame for Ted’s heart attack - even though it’s nobody’s fault.”

“David didn’t ring Ted back a few times when he called. And he cancelled at the last minute when Ted planned to fly to the States and visit David and his family.”

The source added that David told friends: “I cancelled on him so many times. I feel so guilty - I don’t know what to do.”

“He’s drifted away from Ted over the years, but he still loves his dad desperately.”

Victoria Beckham cut short a promotional tour of Japan to fly to London to be with husband David on Thursday: “She’s been a rock for David. She keeps telling him, ‘Don’t blame yourself for this, stop having a guilt trip - it’s not your fault.’”

“The two of them have been sitting in the corridor together and she clasps his hand in hers. David’s like a little lost lamb at the moment.”

Ted is currently being treated at the London Chest Hospital and a source told the People newspaper: “He is getting better and better. He has been eating and getting stronger.”

But David is keen to make sure his dad is definitely on the mend and well looked after before he returns to the US. An additional source told the People: “David wants Ted to have the help of a full-time carer for as long as he wants one.”

“He’s told Ted he will be constantly worried if he thinks his dad isn’t getting the support he needs.”

“The hope is that Ted will be back to full fitness in a couple of months. But David has made a pledge to Ted, offering to pay for full-time care for as long as he needs it.”

David and Ted fell out two years ago after Ted wrote an unauthorised biography about his son but they reconciled again in April this year.

• Over in California, Ryan Phillippe took Ava and Deacon - his children with Reese Witherspoon - grocery shopping in Brentwood.
• Mum to be Christina Aguilera was snapped grabbing a late lunch at Magnolia with husband Jordan Bratman on Friday.
• While similarly bumptastic Nicole Richie preferred to eat out later in the day - she was snapped heading into Mr Chow’s for dinner with boyfriend Joel Madden that evening.

A former girlfriend of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has revealed that the music mogul has a 30-strong entourage to perform his every need.

Nai Bacha met Diddy in Toronto last December and has had an on-off affair with the former rapper since then even though he was living with long-term partner Kim Porter until July.

Nai told the Sunday Mirror recently: “Sean’s life has to be seen to be believed. He calls himself The King - and even Prince Charles cannot be any more demanding than he is.”

“He has a cast of thousands to ensure his life is perfect. They hang on his every need - he has one man just to pour his drinks, one to cut his hair and shave him…and two entire teams to look after his jewellery and clothes.”

On the subject of his barber, she added: “that’s the only man on the planet who can trim his hair or give him a shave. Sean never shaves himself.”

And when it comes to his clothes: “Sean is always immaculately dressed and that takes military precision. He has one guy in charge of his wardrobe, another who’s responsible for putting different outfits together. When he came to London [in July] he had wardrobes filled with suits. There were about 80 from the biggest designers in the world - but only in black or white. The cheapest cost about £2,000.”

“Then there’s his cook Diane, who is on call all day and night. It might be 6am and he’ll want porridge. Diane is always on standby ready to make a perfect bowl.”

“There was someone whose sole job for the day was to mix Sean’s favourite cocktail, Patron Silver tequila with ice. He wasn’t allowed to make drinks for anyone else.”

“Sean also has someone whose only job is to play his own records wherever he goes. I never heard him listening to anyone else’s music.”

She went on to say that he has “about four security guards” to just look after his jewellery: “He has a box, which looked liked a vanity case filled with jewellery. There are rows of diamond bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings… He has every watch you could name from Rolex to Cartier, Tag Heuer, Breitling. There were drawers filled with jewels. In fact there was so much stuff I couldn’t see it all.”

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has revealed that she vetoed husband Ashley Cole’s offer to join Real Madrid football team because the move to Spain would cause problems for her pop career.

Then Arsenal defender Ashley was given the chance to join the top Spanish team last year but ended up moving to Chelsea FC instead.

Cheryl told GQ magazine recently: “Ashley was offered a hell of a lot of money to go… the deal was there on the table.”

“[But] it would have meant that I’d have had to give up my career, which I wasn’t prepared to do. Why should all my dreams and aspirations be shattered for the sake of his career?”

“I’ve worked just as hard as he has to get where I am and we spoke about it at length. Either I’d have had to move out there with him and commute, or give up my career at a time when we’d finally been accepted as a band and it was almost cool to like Girls Aloud.”

But making the decision still wasn’t easy: “It made things difficult. .. There was a lot of disagreement, and there were a lot of tears being shed.”

And it’s also been hard to live with and Cheryl said in some ways she regrets the decision: “For the hurt it has caused him and his family, yes. .. I stopped him living his dream playing out there.”

“[But] For me and my career - selfish reasons, I know - then no, [I don’t regret it]. It would have been equally selfish for him to go there, so there had to be some sort of compromise.”

“I almost begged Ashley to sign for Chelsea not really knowing what that would mean. .. I didn’t realise the extent to which moving from Arsenal to Chelsea would cause so much hurt between the two of us, and to Arsenal fans. And for that I do apologise.”

“He wouldn’t have got half as much s**t if he had gone there [to Madrid] rather than Chelsea. And I blame myself for a lot of that.

“Looking back, with all the different advice he was getting and me saying, ‘Don’t go abroad’, it must have been hard for him. He went through hell. His eyes were dead until recently.”
