• Emma Bunton has reportedly introduced her fellow Spice Girls to her baby son by using a webcam. According to the Sunday Mirror, London-based Emma hooked up the technology last week to show off six week old Beau to the Los Angeles-based Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham since they’ve yet to meet the little boy in person. Beau was born on 10th August this year and is the first child for Emma and boyfriend Jade Jones - and the seventh baby Spice after Victoria’s three sons, Melanie Brown’s two daughters and Geri’s daughter Bluebell.
• British TV-turned-West-End star Claire Sweeney has split up from her boyfriend of six years. Nightclub owner Tony Hibbard was seen moving out of the couple’s £1million London townhouse on Friday after, according to the Sunday Mirror, a string of rows culminating in a 20-minute crisis talk at a nearby restaurant on Wednesday. A friend of the former Brookside star told the newspaper: “It’s been really hard for them both, but it’s for the best. They’ve tried to make things work, but just need some space from each other.”

Comedian Dane Cook has said it was great fun working with Jessica Alba while making their movie Good Luck Chuck because she’s a natural wit.

The Employee of the Month star told Us Weekly recently: “It’s rare to find somebody who has that natural, innate communicability, and, at the same time, is beautiful inside and out. It’s just thrilling and I had that experience with Alba. She’s got quite the sense of humour, that one.”

Richie Sambora took an evening out of rehab on Wednesday night to join his Bon Jovi bandmates in being honored by the Recording Academy’s New York Chapter.

Guitarist Richie checked into the Cirque Lodge facility in Utah last week for a second stint of rehab following his earlier stay at the UCLA Medical Center in June.

At Wednesday’s event, Richie told reporters: “I’m sober, I’m good.”

“I’m going back just to finish [the short programme] this weekend. I figured, why not get to the bottom of this and really understand it?”

Richie is believed to have sought treatment for alcohol abuse after a tough year which saw his marriage to Heather Locklear end in divorce, his subsequent relationship with Denise Richards end and his father die from lung cancer.

A source close the New Jersey based musician told People magazine: “He has been sober since June and is doing really well. It’s always been planned that he would take some time away to continue on his road to health.”

George Clooney has countered rumours that he’s planning to marry new girlfriend Sarah Larson - or anyone.

Rumours started circulating that George was set to take their relationship to the next level after seeing how former Fear Factor contestant Sarah acted following their motorbike crash last Friday.

However George has said that since divorcing from Talia Balsam in 1993, he doubts he’ll find lifelong love again: “I’m never at home and every woman gets sick of it. If I was them, I wouldn’t put up with me for too long - and they don’t.”

• Angelina Jolie has reportedly been dumped by clothing company St John after two years as the face of the label. An industry source told OK magazine: “Putting celebrities in campaigns is the biggest trend right now, everyone is doing it, but it didn’t work for St. John with Angelina. The people that wear St. John just didn’t relate to her.” Angelina has shoot a series of campaigns for the conservative label since September 2005.
• Lenny Kravitz is refusing to confirm or deny rumours that he was engaged to Nicole Kidman. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Nicole revealed she had been engaged between divorcing Tom Cruise and marrying Keith Urban last year but won’t reveal the identity of the man she nearly married. Lenny, who is said to have dated Nicole during that time, said recently: “I keep that to myself. I feel like that is private and it’s between the two of us, so I just leave it there.”
