Brad Pitt: I’ve only got a few more films left then I’m done

Brad PittBrad Pitt has furthered the suggestion that he’ll retire from Hollywood in a few years time.

Brad’s partner Angelina Jolie has previously said they’re likely to leave acting behind in a few years in order to concentrate on their growing family and now Brad has confirmed he thinks he’s coming to the end of his career.

He said recently: “I figure I’ve got very few films left. Who knows how many I’ll get to do now, so I want to do something I’m interested in. Otherwise, I don’t want to bother. I think it’s a younger person’s game.”

He added that he isn’t interested in making any more Ocean’s films: “There’s no more. I think we need to put away childish things.”

But that’s not to say he doesn’t want to work with friends George Clooney and Matt Damon again: “We’ll find something else. I just don’t think there’s anywhere to go with that particular story.”

He also reiterated that becoming a dad has influenced him about what he does and doesn’t want to do on camera : “I don’t want to be embarrassed when my kids get old enough to see my films. I can’t see any more nude scenes [in my career].”

Pamela Anderson: I’m the happiest I’ve ever been

Pamela AndersonPamela Anderson has hit out at rumours that her marriage to Rick Salamon is already in trouble.

The couple are said to have been arguing since their sudden Las Vegas nuptials in October but Pamela has now told USA Today: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

“We’re good for each other. We’re in every night. Having sex.”

The pair had known each other as friends for 15 years before finally hooking up in September then marrying last month. Despite the failure of her rushed marriage to Kid Rock last year, Pam doesn’t think she married Rick too soon after getting together: “Nah, I make all of my decisions in about five minutes.”

“He knows about all my stuff, and I know all his. We’ve always rooted for each other.”

She added that her family - Rick, and her two sons Brandon and Dylan from her previous marriage to Tommy Lee - are increasingly becoming more important to her than anything else and she gives herself just “five more years” in the limelight before retiring: “I get offers to do movies and TV all the time. I say no to everything. Drives my agent crazy. But I’m lazy. I don’t want to work. I want to be with my kids. So I just fly in from LA, do a few days of shows and go back home.”

“[In five years,] I’ll go back to Canada. I’ve got some land. It’ll be time.”

Britney Spears’ driver set to quit already

After less than two weeks on the job, Britney Spears may have to find another driver to ferry around her two sons, Sean and Jayden.

The source told TMZ that the driver is “on his way out” and a court-appointed monitor is also trying to quit because they both consider working with the star is a “liability”

Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin: still together, just not seen together

Gwyneth Paltrow’s publicist has shot down rumours that Gwyneth’s marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is in trouble.

The couple haven’t been photographed together in months prompting stories that they’ve split but Gwyneth’s spokesperson Stephen Huvane has explained that it’s actually a deliberate strategy by the couple to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

Huvane told the New York Post recently: “They have been completely together [all year] and barely separated.”

“Chris was with her in Los Angeles during the shooting of ‘Iron Man,’ and then with her in the Hamptons during the summer, and in London for September and October. She’s been in New York for the past week, but he is joining him soon in a few days.”

“Th[ese stories] stem from the fact that both Chris and Gwyneth make a deliberate effort not to be photographed together. She does not take him to any events where there will be press - or if she does, they enter separately. It is their policy not to put their relationship out there for public consumption.”
