Britney Spears reportedly collapsed just an hour into her hosting role at Pure nightclub’s New Year’s celebrations.

Britney hosted two countdowns - one in the VIP section of the Las Vegas club and the other on the club’s outdoor terrace - before fainting around 12.50am.

According to reports, she was sat on a VIP tented bed overlooking the dance floor with one of her male dancers when she suddenly announced she wanted to leave. An onlooker has revealed as Britney stood up to go: “she went into a dead faint and just fell right to the floor.”

Her entourage quickly pulled up up onto the bed then her bodyguard asked for help from the club’s security staff at “get her out as quickly as possible.”

The security guards attempted to screen her from onlookers with a member of her entourage shouting: “Make sure nobody gets any photos. No photos anywhere.”

A second eyewitness reported that “she was being dragged as she wasn’t walking under her own speed. It looked as if they wanted to get her up to her hotel room as soon as possible.”

According to Luxe Life, an ambulance was summoned to the hotel around 2am but it was not clearly whether this was for Britney or another guest.
