Kate Moss at Heathrow airportKate Moss and Pete Doherty have prompted rumours they’re planning a beach wedding in Thailand after Pete flew out to join Kate in the country over the weekend.

Kate is staying at the Amanpuri resort in Phuket and an inside source revealed: “Senior management at the hotel have been told that the couple are having a romantic, bohemian- style beach wedding. Family and friends have been invited.”

According to the Daily Mail, the pair rang in the New Year together on the steps of the hotel, watching a £100,000 firework display before returning to an exclusive party inside for an hour then departing for their private villa.

The newspaper speculated that the pair are likely to marry within days but it’s unclear whether the ceremony would be recognised under English law or whether it would be merely a symbolic declaration of their love for each other.

The couple had been previously rumoured to be planning to marry at a London registry office on Friday. A ceremony on Kate’s 33rd birthday later this month has also been speculated.
