• Gwyneth Paltrow has decided that her children with husband Chris Martin, Apple and Moses, will embrace their Jewish heritage. A source told the Daily Express: “Gwyneth made sure her family celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah [this year]. Chris accepted Gwyneth’s desire for the children to be brought up understanding their proud Jewish background, even at this early stage. Gwyneth has even had a family tree made especially so that she can show Apple and Moses where they descended from.”
  • David and Victoria Beckham treated their oldest two sons, Brooklyn and Romeo, to “indoor skydiving” in a 150mph wind tunnel on Monday. The family hired out the Airkix centre in Milton Keynes and after learning the techniques and donning flight suits and goggles, all four stepped into the wind tunnel. A source told the Sun: “At the end David bought lots of photos of them doing it and a number of DVDs. They said it was great and that they’d be back.”
  • Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulson had a memorable start to the new year - their second son, Mattias, was born to just hours into the new year. Will’s spokesperson Matt Labov confirmed the birth and added: “All are healthy, happy and otherwise okay.” Will and Viveca already have a two year old son together, Magnus.
