Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have reportedly locked themselves in their villa for some alone time since their rumoured-but-denied wedding on Monday.

According to the Mirror, the couple have turned away cleaning staff from their £4,000 a night villa in the luxury resort of Amanpuri in Phuket, Thailand.

A source at the resort told the newspaper: “They haven’t been seen for 48 hours and it’s become a running joke among staff that they can’t go anywhere near their villa or they’ll get an earful.”

“The only contact they’ve had with the outside world is when then they have ordered up champagne.”

Meanwhile the newspaper reports that a council of war has convened back in London with Kate’s schoolfriend-turned-her-hairdresser James Brown and best friend Davinia Taylor meeting over lunch to discuss Kate’s relationship with Pete.

The onlooker at the restaurant revealed: “The mood seemed pretty sombre as they talked over recent events and asked if Kate was doing the right thing.”

“At one point Davinia said that she hoped all the ‘madness was worth it’ and shook her head in dismay.”

“She said that Kate had been through a lot and wondered if Pete was really the right one for her because of all his baggage.”
