Vanessa Minnillo denies proposal at midnight caused tears

Vanessa Minnillo has denied that boyfriend Nick Lachey proposed to her at midnight on New Year’s Eve as she presented the MTV New Year’s Eve party in Times Square, New York.

Nick was seen whispering something in her ear which made her start to cry before the couple shared a kiss at midnight.

Vanessa has now explained her tears away by saying: “Everyone that is important in my life is here. I literally choked up.”

Nick and Vanessa started dating in the summer around the time Nick’s divorce from Jessica Simpson was finalised.

I think that vannesa is scandolous for getting with her friends ex husband seperated or not. Thats just wrong and I agree Jessica is prettier!!!

Jessica and Nick was a good looking couple. Every marriage have problems. Vanessa is pretty as well. However no matter what they were going through. That doesn’t make it right for Vanessa to talk to her friend soon to be ex-husband. All the men in the world why Nick. That was a low blow. I can understand why Jessica would be upset.
