Victoria Beckham is set to jet off to Los Angeles to continue house-hunting in the city, even though husband David has isn’t in love with the idea of moving to the United States.

A source close to the pair told the Daily Mail: “It has become a bone of contention between them. Victoria is hellbent on buying in LA but David is less keen.”

“Victoria is now tired of Madrid. She is close to the Cruises and their Hollywood friends, and she knows they are influential people who will be able to help her get her next break. She’s determined to be the breadwinner in 2007 and sees America as the place to make that happen.”

“Victoria is putting pressure on David to buy a home in Malibu and wants it so badly she has said she’ll pay for it herself.”

But, she’s not finding it easy to find her family a home in the area - the first house she decided on fell through and she’s finding it hard working with the real estate agents.

The source added: “Victoria is very fussy and has fallen out with several estate agents. She’s more demanding than some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.”
