• Lindsay Lohan has had her appendix removed as a precaution after doctors diagnosed her with suspected appendicitis. Lindsay ended her Miami holiday earlier this week and checked herself into hospital for tests on her return to Los Angeles. Her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik confirmed that Lindsay had her appendix removed in a short operation yesterday and is now recovering at the hospital.
  • Most people just go for one New Year’s resolution but Courtney Love has set herself a whole series of targets for 2007. Her plans include to learn an Asian language, “get to my goal weight healthily”, “become a women of limitless self- esteem, be victorious and positive in all actions”, “improve [at] yoga” and to “cultivate real and deep relationships, have fantastic sex with commitment and honour with someone who treats me as I deserve, and don’t give my power away.”
  • Larry Birkhead has revealed that he has spoken to ex-girlfriend Anna Nicole Smith several times despite the paternity court case hanging over them. He revealed recently: “I’ve talked to her a couple of times. I sent Christmas presents to the baby and she called and said thank you and said they were pretty.”
