The News of the World is reporting that Justin Timberlake is after Scarlett Johansson after finishing with Cameron Diaz in December.

The newspaper claims that Justin got to know Scarlett when she filmed the video for his forthcoming single ‘What Goes Around’.

A source told the newspaper: “Things just didn’t work out between Justin and Cameron.”

“Justin decided to end it just days before new year. It seems he wanted a fresh start for 2007. Justin did love Cameron but things don’t always work out the way you want them.”

“He’s got a tour coming up this year and wanted to concentrate on that, but it seems he’s really hit it off with Scarlett while working on the video.”

The two were spotted together at the after-party following the premiere of Justin’s new movie, Alpha Dog earlier this week. An onlooker added: “[Scarlett] walked in, keeping her head down. When she met Justin they looked very close and chatted away for ages.”

“There were other people trying to speak to Justin but he kept his attention on her for around an hour. They looked very intimate.”

“But he’s still trying to make it look low key - because he left with his mum Lynn later through a back exit.”

Scarlett has been dating Josh Hartnett for the past 18 months after meeting on the set of their film The Black Dahlia but have recently been rumoured to be having relationship problems due to their busy work schedules.
