  • Hilary Swank has revealed her New Year’s resolution is to give away all the freebie items she’s picked up in award show gift bags over the years. She said recently: “I’m getting all these free things thrown at me and it’s so strange. My New Year’s resolution is to get rid of some stuff because I bring it in and I can’t get rid of it. With my background, and how I grew up, I didn’t grow up with a lot of stuff and now I just have this terrible thing.”
  • Courtney Love has given up cosmetic surgery as one of her many new year’s resolutions but according to Us Weekly, she slipped in a rhinoplasty and lip surgery just before the end of 2006. When questioned about the surgery at the premiere of Hilary Swank’s new film Freedom Writers, Courtney replied: “I’m not going to comment on that tonight. I just think me looking human is cool.” A close source said though that Courtney is “happy to have her mouth back” after years of collagen use.
  • Eva Longoria reportedly can’t decide who should design her wedding dress. The Desperate Housewives star is set to marry fiance Tony Parker in France this summer but can’t design whether Angel Sanchez, who designed her 2005 Emmy Awards gown, or Monique Lhuiller should do the honours. Her stylist Robert Verdi told In Touch magazine: “Eva has been supportive of Latin designers but, at the same time, Monique is French like Tony and she and Eva know each other.”
