Britney Spears‘ collapse/being very tired might cost her the $400,000 appearance fee she was supposed to get for hosting the New Year’s Eve party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas.

A inside source at the club told the New York Daily News that they feel her ducking out earlier violated the contract: “Britney failed to spend the agreed amount of time in the club, because she had to be helped out after collapsing.”

“The moment a celebrity gets into one of those deals, they are on the clock. They are watched to the minute, and they are not allowed to leave early. It’s a contractual obligation.”

The source added that the club is “furious” that her collapse was spun to suggest she fell asleep because that makes the club sound like it’s boring.

However, the club’s official spokesperson has denied that Britney will be penalised for leaving early, saying: “Britney had a great time. We love her and can’t wait for her to come back.”
