Renée Zellweger hasn’t ruled out a return to Bridget Jones for another sequel but she doesn’t believe it will happen any time soon.

Rumours have been circulating that a third film is in the works and it’ll feature an older version of Bridget, who is expecting Daniel Cleaver’s baby.

Renée said recently: “I don’t know if I would [play Bridget again]. It depends on so many factors.”

“First Helen [Fielding, the author of the books] would have to ask me to come back, and then there has to be a script that we can all agree on.”

“It seems there is some kind of talk but it’s not with the people who make the movie or write the books.”
