Emma BuntonFormer Spice Girl Emma Bunton still hopes the band will reform - even for a one-off gig - despite the other members of the group saying it’s unlikely to happen.

The band were expected to reform for the Live 8 concert in 2005 but the plans were reportedly scuppered by Melanie B. Then Melanie C and Victoria Beckham were said to be the ones holding it back, and since becoming a mum, Geri Halliwell has also said she doesn’t think it will happen.

Emma told the Daily Record recently: “We’re all doing different things and some of the girls are mums, so priorities have changed. But I would love to do something with the Spice Girls again. I know we would have an amazing time.”

“I would love to look to the side of the stage and see the girls there.”

“But it would have to be for a one-off gig for charity rather than a full scale tour.”
