• Kim Basinger is due to appear in court today regarding 12 contempt of court charges she racked up during the custody battle over her daughter with Alec Baldwin, Ireland. Alec claims Kim failed to tell him when she’d be out of town so he could look after their daughter and about an accident that required Ireland to go to hospital. Kim faces up to 60 days in jail and a $12,000 fine if she is found guilty of all charges.
  • Ashley Olsen has revealed she is a “bit obsessed” with personal hygiene. She told Bliss magazine recently: “I try to make sure my face is clean. I’m a bit obsessed with washing my face. I’ll wash it, like, four times a day, which means I constantly have to redo my make-up.”
  • Zach Braff has revealed that fans of his film Garden State have helped him deal with his own mental health. He told Parade magazine that he suffers from “mild depression” and “to have millions of people go, ‘I watched your movie and related’ was the ultimate affirmation that I’m not a freak.” He added that despite being a star, he doesn’t particularly like Hollywood: “I don’t care about image and all that nonsense. I’m in sweat pants every day. I don’t play the game at all.”
