  • Rachel Weisz has revealed she thought Darren Aronofsky would be “intense and weird” after seeing his movies Pi and Requiem for a Dream. She said recently: “I guess the first impression was that I’d been a big admirer of his work, and then I met someone who you’d never have put with that work. There was something very refreshing about that. I thought I was going to meet someone who was very intense and weird.” The couple are now engaged and have a son, Henry together.
  • Gillian Anderson has revealed that she has drunk blood from goats and lambs as part of a Masai tribal ceremony during a trip to Africa. She revealed: “You crouch down and drink it straight off its neck. They pull the skin away and then you suck the hole. Goat is better than lamb. Lambs have a lot more fat on them, so the blood is very gloopy. I didn’t feel particularly good after that.”
  • Katie Price and Peter Andre’s son Harvey has been allowed to leave hospital after a two week stay following an accident in the family home on New Year’s Eve. Four year old Harvey was badly scalded on his legs after running himself a hot bath and Katie and Peter stayed with him during his stay in a specialist burns unit. The couple’s agent has said on Monday: “Harvey’s much better. They’re very happy he’s at home.”
