Golden Globes 2007: Prince’s party was the place to be

He might have been denied the chance to pick up his award because of a traffic jam but Prince’s Golden Globes after-party was reportedly the place to be on Monday night.

The party, in the Forbes Penthouse of the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons hotel, drew an A-list crowd including Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony, Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher, Penelope Cruz, Leonardo DiCaprio and new member of the group, Victoria Beckham.

A source at the party revealed Victoria wore a Roberto Cavalli dress designed specially for her and spent the evening “sipping champagne and looking totally relaxed.”

“Everyone was asking when David was coming to LA and saying how much they were looking forward to seeing him play.”

Victoria left the party around 12.30 with Tom & Katie and Jennifer & Marc but a source told the Mirror the departure didn’t go quite as planned: Tom’s car broke down and all five had to squeeze into Jennifer’s Rolls Royce for their journeys home instead.
