Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into a residential rehab programme after failing to get a grip on her partying behaviour.

According to Us Weekly, Lindsay entered the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. An onlooker reported that she arrived in a blacked out SUV, followed by two other cars and was carrying a dark Balenciaga bag and wearing a black baseball cap with “Lola” written on it.

Lindsay’s spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnick later issued a statement on behalf of the actress, stating: “I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time.”

Lindsay has previously admitted going to Alcoholics Anonymous sessions for around a year but has not curbed her partying way. The star was spotted at Prince’s Golden Globes after-show party on Monday night and according to another party goer, “she was totally out of it” and partied until around 6am Tuesday morning.
