Angelina Jolie: flying is fantastic fun

Angelina Jolie has revealed she and partner Brad Pitt have plans to use their flying skills to help others - but mostly it’s just for fun.

The pair both hold pilot’s licenses and own their own small planes and Angelina told Elle magazine recently: “Surprisingly, we can co-pilot each other really well - without arguing. I can’t drive with him in the car, but I can fly!”

“[Flying]’s fantastic. It’s a freedom I’ve always wanted and, as an actress, I don’t have a practical skill. So it was nice to learn something, to study the manual, read the maps.”

“The plan is not just to take our family around but to lift people who need some help from one place to another, or bring food aid in [to poor areas]. But really, it’s just a fun thing.”
