Antonio Banderas: I knew Melanie Griffiths and I would be together

Antonio Banderas with Melanie Griffith and daughter Stella Banderas Antonio Banderas has revealed he was lovestruck from the moment he saw Melanie Griffith.

Antonio first spotted Melanie at the 1988 Oscar ceremony when his film Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown received a nomination for Best Foreign Film.

He revealed recently: “The first time I saw Melanie was in 1988 when she was up for a Best Actress Oscar for Working Girl. I remember her outfit - a white dress with pearls.”

“I just knew one day we would get together, even though we didn’t really speak.”

The two didn’t met again until 1994 when they filmed Too Much together and married two years later.

I remembered when she divorced don johnson to be with him! Well Don cheated on her. Banderas and her look like twins.

Oh my God! There’s a celebrity couple in hollywood who have stayed married for more then 3 years! They should have awards ceremonies for hollywood couples who make the five year mark

A lot of people have been/were together for more than 3 years, Pitt-Aniston, Hoffman and his wife, Sean Penn and Robin, Cruise and Kidman, Warren Betty and his wife, Newman and his wife, Julia Roberts and her husband, Julian Moore and her husband. I think hollywood or not relationships are hard work. These stars are just like us. Some worked it out and some didn’t.
