Kelly Osbourne is proud that she is trying to make a career for herself rather than just relying on the celebrity of her famous family.

She told the Sun recently: “I would never deny that I’m famous for being Ozzy’s daughter.”

“I’m proud to be an Osbourne. But I’ve achieved so much and I’m only 22. I own my own house and I make my own money. I’m not just spending my dad’s money and falling out of nightclubs. I’m trying to do something with my life.”

“I’m still young. I’m still trying to figure out what I want myself.”

Kelly is currently presenting Sky One’s Project Catwalk but she doesn’t want to stay in front of the cameras for her whole life: “I don’t want to be 50 and getting my hair and make-up done to walk down a red carpet and talk about myself.”

“Eventually I’d like to be behind the scenes and out of the public eye. I don’t want to be judged my whole life. The only people who should judge me are my family - and they think I’m OK.”
