Heath LedgerHeath Ledger and Michelle Williams are rumoured to have married in a secret ceremony after being spotted wearing matching rings on their wedding ring fingers.

The Brooklyn-based pair applied for a marriage license at the start of November which would have allowed them to marry at any point over the following 60 days within the Brooklyn area.

According to the New York Post, the two have been spotted wearing rings during a recent stroll near their home with their 14 month old daughter Matilda.

A friend said at the time of their marriage license application: “Heath and Michelle don’t like the spotlight. If they get married it will be a quiet wedding at a local church and then a party at the River Café afterwards for friends and family.”

The couple met on the set of their film Brokeback Mountain, playing a husband and wife.
