Depending on which reports you read, Kate Hudson has either got a new man or is back together with Owen Wilson.

According to the New York Daily News, Owen flew over to Australia - where Kate is currently filming new movie Fools Gold earlier this week to rekindle the relationship he backed out of just before Christmas.

But Life & Style Weekly is reporting that Kate is now dating Nic Cester, the frontman of rock band Jet.

Nic is a friend of Kate’s estranged husband Chris Robinson with Chris joining Jet on stage for a show last month but according to the magazine, Kate and Nic were spotted kissing at the Bowery Bar in Brisbane over the weekend.

Kate then joined Nic and his band for their performance at a Big Day Out show the following day.

Either way, a source has revealed that Kate’s attitude to photographers around the set has completely changed over the last couple of days: “Kate had a very close, friendly relationship with the paparazzi on set, but she changed her tune earlier this week. There was a five-day period when she requested no photographers. [Her people] even threatened to get the police on them if they didn’t leave her alone.”
