Jake Gyllenhaal “definitely thinking about” having child

Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed that he is looking to settle down and having children sometime soon, just as soon as he finds the right woman.

He told GQ magazine recently: “I’m definitely thinking about it, having a child. Look, the most important job for a man is to find the right woman. It’s the best we can do.”

“I thank my father for choosing my mother. She’s wonderful in so many ways. And she chose well too.”

“I’ve noticed in life that the mother, first, has a primary job [as a mother] and as a father, our job is to pick a caring, smart, mindful woman [to do that].”

Jake has been linked to a number of women, including Natalie Portman, since his split from Kirsten Dunst in December 2005 but Natalie and Jake insist that they are just friends.

Seriously.
I know he means this as a compliment, but he sounds like a simpleton. First off, does he think that women are like khaki trousers at the Gap? “Hmmm…marry KiKi Dunst or the hot Star Wars chick? Buy the tapered leg khakis or the ones with the generous cut in the crotch? What to do, what to do, whattodo?”
You don’t actually get to pick, Jake. It is a two-way decision there. And in some families the father is actually the primary care-giver. How about you learn to question gender roles, Jakers! Kind of like everyone else did when they watched Brokeback Mountain!

Jake is amazing I would mary him right now ,but I know I don’t have a chance or any other regular female…man i wish I was somebody famous , Jake would notice me than maybe.

I actually don’t think he’ll marry or settle down with a hollywood type or even famous. He’s too down to earth and really wants to find quality. Not that quality can’t be found in the women of hollywood but I have a feeling that he’s going to meet someone ordinary and it’ll just click. He seems like someone who would value someone not based on whether they are famous or not but whether they have substance and whether they are famous or not wouldn’t matter to him.
