Amy Winehouse was kicked out of a bar in London’s Savoy hotel on Wednesday for singing jazz songs around the piano with friend and fellow jazz fiend Jamie Cullum.

The pair were at the hotel for the South Bank Show Awards earlier in the day and after the aftershow event had come to an end, they retired with a small party to the American Bar.

After knocking back martinis, Amy asked the lounge pianist if she could join in and performed eight classic jazz songs before being asked to stop by management.

According to the Sun, Amy protested the order and then was led out of the bar and urged to go to bed.

A spokesperson for the Savoy refused to comment on the incident saying, “we do not comment on guests”.
