Robbie Williams has revealed that he gets his friends to act as cigarette mules when they visit him at his home in Los Angeles.

Robbie reportedly smokes 60 cigarettes a day but is loyal to his old British brand even though he’s now based in the US. He revealed recently: “Silk Cut are hard to find in Los Angeles, so I get people to bring them out when they visit. I don’t like smoking anything else.”

But hopefully his friends won’t have to be picking up duty-free for him for much longer. He added: “I want to give up cigarettes for good in 2007. I may go and see a hypnotist, that seems like a good idea.”

“I smoke loads and I really don’t want to anymore. But I’m terrified of giving up. I’m a fat bloke inside this body and the minute I stop smoking, I will put on weight.”
