Kristin Davis: I need to get closure with Sex and the City film

Kristin Davis has said she would love to make a film version of Sex and the City to give herself some closure with her character from the show.

Kristin said recently: “One of the reasons that I want to do the movie personally is that I feel like Charlotte is unfinished.”

“We had taken a lot of her storylines and meant for them to be in the movie, so I need that movie, but I’m kind of a broken record talking about that!”

The film has been rumoured since the series ended in 2004 and after earlier stalling, co-star Kim Cattrall revealed in December that the film is back in pre-production.

Kristin has now explained it’s being delayed because they want to get it right: “We feel an obligation to our fans that if we did it, it needs to be great we don’t want to just throw something up there on the screen. Are we closer? Yes.”
