Kylie Minogue has confirmed that she has split from boyfriend Olivier Martinez after four years together.

The pair released a statement announcing their separation last night: “Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple.”

“They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable.”

“The media’s false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends.”

The pair were rumoured to be in trouble last weekend after Olivier was linked to two women in Los Angeles and he was said to be frustrated with Kylie’s heavy work schedule so soon after her recovery from breast cancer.

Kylie had previously described Olivier as her “rock” for his support during her treatment: “He was always there, helping with the practical stuff and being protective.”
