Britney Spears: being single is “awesome”

How times change - just under a year ago, Britney Spears described her marriage to Kevin Federline as “awesome” - but now she’s said the same thing about being single.

Britney made the latest comment to People magazine while attending the Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons and KLS Collection Fall 2007 fashion show in New York on Friday night. Newly brunette Britney wore a sleek spaghetti-strapped dress with black pumps for the event - in contrast to her blonde hair extensions and garish partying outfits of late.

An onlooker at the show revealed that Britney, who had a front row seat at the show, chatted with her assistant about specific outfits and was particularly blown away by a halter dress with a train at the back but a mini-dress at the front. Another audience member told Us Weekly: “Britney seemed to enjoy herself, except for some annoying girl that kept snapping pictures of her.”

Britney later described the show as “amazing” and designer Kimora Lee Simmons returned the compliment, saying: “Sometimes [Britney] gets a hard rap…[But] she is a very talented girl.”

I take offense to Britney being called single. She should be labeled as divorced and not single! A single person who is one who has not been married.

I am 19, never married (well what do u expect at my age). Honey, single simply means a guy or gal who is not in a relationship. So u can continue taking as much offence as u want, its ur blood pressure thats going to suffer. Anyway, who cares about Shitney Go to blazes Spears. She is a born loser. I can’t believe that anyone ever fell for that “she’s hot” joke. She is a lame as d**e. Even K-Fed or Fed-Ex, or whatever he’s called now, is on a level higher than she is, and he is an absolute lowlife.
