Heather Mills has been reportedly dropped as a spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in favour of Paul McCartney’s daughter, Mary McCartney.

Mary, a professional photographer, has previously worked with the group on their “I Would Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign but before agreeing to shoot the latest set of photographs - with Jamelia - she asked for them to distance themselves from her estranged step-mother Heather.

A source close to Mary told the Daily Mail: “Mary was keen to take photographs for Peta, which she has done in the past, but wanted reassurances that Heather no longer represented the group.”
