Britney SpearsBritney Spears was reportedly “hammered” on a night out in New York this week despite telling friends to keep all alcohol away from her.

According to the New York Post, Britney dined with friends at Rue 57 on Tuesday night before hitting the clubs. The group first went to Marquee, where an onlooker heard her “demand all alcohol be kept far away from her.”

“[But] she must have been drinking secretly in the bathroom because she was falling all over the place.”

“She was also chomping on lollipops from the bathroom all night. And she didn’t leave any money for the bathroom attendant.”

Britney left Marquee in the early hours, arriving at their next club Tenjure around 2.30am. A fellow clubgoer reported that she was dancing on banquettes and “drinking what looked like vodka and O.J. Britney was completely hammered.”

Perhaps she was partying to exercise the thought of being dumped by Isaac Cohen. Another source told the newspaper that she wasn’t short of male attention: “a scruffy-looking guy” followed her between clubs and was “hitting on her all night, but she wouldn’t even look at him.”

“Then a model guy came to her table and she started making out with him.”

The Sun reported that Britney took the latter man back to her room at the Carlyle Hotel - after a quick 5am refuelling at McDonalds.
