Ryan Phillippe has revealed that he’s planning to take a “good long break” from acting to focus on his children with estranged wife Reese Witherspoon.

The pair have shared custody of their two children, seven year old daughter Ava and three year old son Deacon, since separating late last year.

Ryan has said: “[Being] a dad, that is number one on my mind right now.”

Ryan, who starred in last year’s surprise Oscar winner Crash and more recently, he was in Clint Eastwood’s The Flags of Our Fathers added: “The opportunities I’ve had recently have been the best of my career. [But] it’s the last thing on my mind right now, considering what I’m going through in my personal life.”
