Contrary to the recent break-up rumours, Kate Moss has reportedly asked her aides to find a remote hideaway in Scotland for her and boyfriend Pete Doherty.

A source close to Kate explained to the Sun that Kate hopes having a secret, rural getaway will help Pete get out of his drug taking cycle and give them both some space from the pressure of fame.

The source said: “Kate keeps getting frustrated with Pete, but she cannot leave him. She feels let down by his constant broken promises but is torn because she absolutely adores him.”

“Kate has been through her own drug problems and knows the only way he will give up is if he breaks the cycle. If he is away from the guys who feed him drugs then he might have a chance at escaping the hold addiction has on him.”

“They love escaping to her house in the Cotswolds but Kate wants to get somewhere even more remote than that.”

“If it is her pad she can control who visits and who doesn’t. She says she doesn’t want anyone there except her and Pete.”

The source likened her plans to Paul McCartney’s farm on the Mull of Kintyre that he used as an escape with wife Linda in the 1970s: “Pete is obsessed that if he gives up drugs he won’t be creative. But Paul McCartney managed a number one single with Mull Of Kintyre while he was away from everything.”
