Noel Gallagher annoyed by political musicians
Noel Gallagher doesn’t have any time for musicians that use their fame to push political causes.
The Oasis star revealed recently that he’s particularly annoyed by the solo album by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke: “Thom Yorke sat at a piano singing, ‘This is f**ked up,’ for half an hour. We all know that, Mr Yorke.”
“Who wants to sing the news? No matter how much you sit their twiddling, going, ‘We’re all doomed,’ at the end of the day people will always want to hear you play ‘Creep’. Get over it.”
“It’s the same with U2. Play ‘One’, shut the f**k up about Africa.”

So what would Noel say about John Lennon - his hero- Instant Karma? As people and artists get older they would be ridiculous if they stuck to singing about pubs, going out, getting wrecked, etc. They get more selfless as they get older - concentrating on world issues, love songs - which Noel does brilliantly. Each to their own Noel.

Radiohead are so much better than Noel Gallagher.
He just sounds extremely jealous.
At least Yorke keeps reminding us all that this world needs to be changed.
What does Noel do? Entertain us to forget about the world needing fixing.
